Yellowstone, you stole our hearts. This National Park that sits atop a supervolcano and sprawls across three states is full of wonder; lakes, mountains, rivers, bison, hot springs, geysers and so much more.
“You’re a stranger here but once,” they say in Jackson. And after spending a couple of nights here…we get it. We’re already looking forward to the day we return only to be greeted with open arms by some of the Nation’s most majestic landscapes, and kindest people.

The last leg of our trip: Ostuni. By this time, we had seen most of Puglia and weren’t sure how “The White Town” would fare in comparison to the colorful seaside of Polignano a Mare or the unforgettable oasis between the walls of Borgo Egnazia. We figured the trip couldn’t get better…and we couldn’t have been more wrong.
It’s hard to write about a place you’ve been so moved by. I came home not knowing how to talk about Borgo Egnazia – how do you tell people you’ve been to heaven and back? How do you even begin to describe a place that in just one week’s time, has come to mean so much to you? A place that has changed you.This blog post won’t even begin to do it justice, but I’ll try.
I used to love camping. As a kid, my parents would pack up our Coleman tent trailer with a weekend’s worth of essentials including, but not limited to: a block of Tillamook, OG Triscuits, applewood smoked bacon, Power Bait, and the fixings for morning omelets + evening s’mores. They would grab a very excited me from elementary school and we’d jam to the likes of Boz Scaggs + Rod Stewart as we ventured East up Highway 50 for a weekend full of the great outdoors (…I use the phrase “great outdoors” loosely).
